Earl Harbert GUTHRIE
Earl H. GUTHRIE, 55, of Bellefontaine was claimed Friday at 12:20 p.m. in
Mary Rutan Hospital, where he had been admitted October 14 for medical
treatment. A retired farmer, he was born August 5, 1902, in Logan County, a
son of Elmer GUTHRIE and Orrie SNODDY. He was a member of the First
Christian Church in the County Seat.
Survivors include his wife, the former Nina WINDER; two sons, James L. GUTHRIE of Rushylvania and Dean GUTHRIE of Jackson Center; six daughters; Mrs. Robert (Lauretta) HENRY, Mrs. William (Sandra) KELLY of Lewistown, Mrs. Richard (Delorise) PRESTON of Orinda, California, Mrs. Clifford (Phyllis) SANDERS of Harrod, Mrs. William (Shirley) KISER, R.R. 3, Bellefontaine, and Mrs. James (Mary) HOUCHINS of Russells Point, and 26 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Kennedy Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ronald Waters of the Gretna Brethren Church officiated. Burial was
made in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
